Are you excited to see what the ocean holds for us? I know I am. Did you know there are about 72 species of seagrass in the world? According to Smithsonian Ocean, these grasses live in salty and semi-salty waters of the world. But don’t confuse them with seaweed! They are definitely a plant and root into the sand and soil, sometimes having leaves and flowers. In habitants of these waters need these plants for both food and hiding places. Although professionals work to restore our ecosystems, they need our care and appreciation for our planet to shine through each of us.
